The self-service environment is recommended to be used for reporting water meter readings

As of 26 January 2022, only the self-service environment of Tallinna Vesi should be used to report water meter readings as we will begin to shut down other reporting channels. This means that, from this date, it will not be possible to report water meter readings via the reading report link of Tallinna Vesi (naidud.tvesi.ee). We will also stop accepting readings by phone and e-mail from that same date.

Therefore, all readings which were previously reported through the above means should now only be reported through the self-service environment of Tallinna Vesi.

We will be closing other channels with the aim of automating the reporting process of water meter readings and ensuring a faster exchange of information.

Members of apartment association boards and/or apartment association managers should thus assign which users* are allowed to enter the readings of the apartment association and view the invoices in the self-service environment of Tallinna Vesi.

The easiest and quickest way to assign authorisations to users is in the self-service environment. A board member can also assign authorisations to users on the basis of a power of attorney. The power of attorney is available here – it should be signed digitally by the board member and sent to the e-mail address tvesi@tvesi.ee.

If the owner of the registered immovable, i.e. a contractual partner of Tallinna Vesi, wants another person to report water meter readings, the owner should mark the persons reporting the readings as users* in the self-service environment.

In order to use the self-service environment of Tallinna Vesi, you have to authenticate your identity using your ID card, Mobile ID, Smart ID or a bank link.

*There are three user authorisation levels in the self-service environment of Tallinna Vesi.

  • Owner – a contractual partner of Tallinna Vesi who has access to all documents in the self-service environment and can use all functions. They can also authorise other persons and assign users.
  • Manager – has access to all documents in the self-service environment and can use all functions. The manager cannot remove owners.
  • User – can report water meter readings, and view and pay invoices. Users cannot access contractual information or view other related/authorised persons at that location.
