Discussion groups on water and environment related topics
Besides our main activities – producing drinking water and treating wastewater – we also deem important to support and promote the environmental awareness and responsible mindset among the community members. Our aim is to create interest and increase awareness of young people about the water and, more widely, about sustainable development. Therefore, we provide interesting educational program on water and environment related topics for kindergartens and primary schools.
All kindergartens and schools in Tallinn are welcome to invite us to come and discuss with children how the water, nature and people are all interlinked. In the discussion groups, we talk about the natural water cycle, where comes the tap water and what will happen to it later, and also discuss how to use water sparingly and avoid blockages. We watch videos, make science tests using water and play games. Discussion plays an important role in these group events! In addition to seminars, which take place in kindergartens and schools, we also have videoseminars, which we are happy to share with those interested. Please contact us via e-mail or phone, which is available below.
Program for kindergartens is meant for 5-7year olds and lasts for 40 minutes.
Program for primary schools will be exciting for 1st-3rd grade kids and lasts for 45 minutes.
Discussion groups are free of charge.
