Therefore, our objective is to burden the environment with our activities as little as possible. We monitor the impact of our operations on the environment, the quality of life of the population, as well as our partners, by identifying and keeping in check the existing and potential negative and positive consequences. To maintain and improve customer satisfaction and the effectiveness of our environmental performance, each year we agree upon the environmental objectives on the Company level, as well as for each department and employee.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Our environmental objectives:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Reduction of the loss of clean water through reduction of leakages<\/li>\n<li>Reduction of the company\u2019s water consumption in processes<\/li>\n<li>Reduction of the number of sewer blockages compared to 2023<\/li>\n<li>Increasing the number of users of the public sewerage system who carry out on-site treatment of wastewater<\/li>\n<li>The activity complies with the requirements laid down in the environmental permits issued by the Environmental Board<\/li>\n<li>Disposal of stabilised sewage sludge<\/li>\n<li>Reduction of the amount of non-stabilised sewage sludge<\/li>\n<li>Recycling of sand removed from the sand separator<\/li>\n<li>We produce our own electricity<\/li>\n<li>Replacement of natural gas in the water treatment plant<\/li>\n<li>Reduction of the amount of waste generated during the construction and reconstruction of water and wastewater pipelines by increasing the use of closed methods<\/li>\n<li>Raising the environmental awareness of different stakeholders about the company\u2019s operations to enhance and maintain the good image of the company<\/li>\n<li>Climate impact risk assessment<\/li>\n<li>Reduction of the amount of outsourced natural gas, generation of heat and electricity through CHP, reduction of energy consumption<\/li>\n<li>Replacement of existing internal combustion engine cars with electric cars<\/li>\n<li>Renewal of integrated environmental permit<\/li>\n<li>Increasing the biodiversity on the premises of the water and wastewater treatment plants<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>We understand that our activity has a significant impact on the surrounding natural environment.
